Previously, he served
as Senior Vice President - Finance, with Tejas Energy, an affiliate of
Shell from 1997 to 1998, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
and Treasurer from 1998 to 1999 and Senior Vice President from January
to September 1999. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Creel served as Vice President
and Treasurer of NorAm Energy Corp.

Mr.
Creel was elected Executive Vice President of the General Partner and
EPCO in February 2001, having served as a Senior Vice President of the
General Partner and EPCO since November 1999. In June 2000, Mr. Creel,
a certified public accountant, assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer
of the Company along with other responsibilities in investor relations,
information technology and corporate risk.
