 TEPPCO PARTNERS, L.P. GENERAL PARTNER PLANS TO ADJOURN
SPECIAL UNITHOLDER MEETING

HOUSTON — TEPPCO Partners, L.P. (NYSE: TPP) today announced that its general partner, Texas Eastern Products Pipeline Company, LLC, plans to exercise its right to adjourn the special unitholder meeting scheduled for Oct. 26, 2006 once it convenes.  The meeting will be scheduled to reconvene at 1 p.m. CST on November 30, 2006, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 1200 Louisiana Street, Houston, Texas  77002.
